Halifax, NS – In March, the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show returns to Halifax Exhibition Centre for its 2017 edition. Under a newly signed agreement, Landscape Nova Scotia will partner with the show to organize and produce the Ideal Garden & Patio Show.
Landscape Nova Scotia welcomed Sally Harvey as its new Executive Director this past spring. Formerly with Landscape Ontario, Harvey brings a wealth of experience and creativity to her role, which the Spring Ideal Home Show will undoubtedly benefit from as well.
According to Tony DiGiovanni, Executive Director with Landscape Ontario, she displays “boundless energy, unmatched passion for [the] industry, effective leadership and amazing contributions to [the organization’s] vision of a prosperous, professional, ethical, recognized and valued profession.”
“We’re thrilled to once again partner with Landscape Nova Scotia,” said Denise Miller, Senior Show Manager. “We’re excited to be working with the organization’s new Executive Director and the rest of the team to offer show visitors the very best that the horticultural trades industry has to offer.”
As part of the new agreement, Landscape Nova Scotia will also create a feature garden at the event’s main entrance and will provide speakers as part of the seminar program as well.
The Ideal Garden & Patio Show is a must-see for anyone looking to begin a landscaping project – whether visitors are planning a major outdoor overhaul or simply looking for some recommendations on types of flowers to plant. Exhibit categories will include landscape contractors, designers, garden centres and many more professionals.
