Halifax, NS – The Big One is back! The Halifax Exhibition Centre is coming alive for spring April 6 through 8 as the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show brings together hundreds of Atlantic Canada’s experts in home and garden improvement.

“We’re approaching the time of year when people start thinking about how to spruce up their home, inside and out,” says Denise Miller, Senior Show Manager. “The Spring Ideal Home Show brings hundreds of exhibitors together for all the inspiration and information homeowners need for those upcoming projects. The tagline rings true – it really is the big one!”

The show will feature everything for basic home improvements, maintenance projects, major renovations and new construction. Both inside and outdoor projects will be in focus, as this year’s edition also includes the Ideal Garden & Patio Show, presented by Landscape Nova Scotia.

With lots to see for 2018, the Spring Ideal Home Show will offer a variety of family-friendly features, including:

• Family-friendly admission pricing, with free entry for those under 18 when accompanied by paying adult
• Children’s features, including a photo booth with the chance to meet Moana, Batman, and Iron Man
• Tour two full-size, cutting-edge show homes from Prestige Homes and Maple Leaf Homes
• Informative seminar sessions from Solar Nova Scotia about solar for electricity hot water and hot air & Passive Solar Home Design

Visitors to the show will also be able to fill out a ballot for their chance to win a handcrafted Amish jewelry mirror with compartments, courtesy of KVADRO Furniture. Along with this great door prize, the show will feature a number of exclusive show specials and promotions.
