St. John’s, NL – Just a few short months remain until the 6th biennial edition of the North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show, returning to the Mile One Centre in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Registration is now open for the event which is set to welcome thousands of industry professionals under one roof on November 16 and 17.
Presented by the Navigator Magazine and produced by Master Promotions Ltd., the event is a can’t-miss opportunity for those who make a living in, on, or around the water. Products on display will include boats, fishing equipment, engines, supplies, safety gear, fish processing machinery, technology, and everything in between. After a record-breaking edition in 2016, featuring more than 100 exhibitors and nearly 4,000 qualified visitors over the course of two days, this year’s event is expected to surpass all previous expectations.
Pre-registration is now open and visitors are encouraged to plan their visit early to save money, get their show badge in advance, and skip lines at the venue. Registration is $10 in advance, or $20 at the door. Access convenient online registration by clicking here.
In addition, nominations are currently being accepted for the Atlantic Canada Marine Industries Hall of Fame. The awards pay a lasting tribute to those who have made valuable contributions in any sector of the marine industry and are given in three categories:
- The Mariner category recognizes individuals who work or have worked on the water in any marine industry.
- The Processor category recognizes individuals involved in the business of processing, from line workers to company owners.
- The Builder category recognizes those who have made contributions without having directly participated.
Individuals and/or businesses are encouraged to submit nominations before the deadline of September 21, 2018. Click here to access nomination forms and learn more about the awards.
