OTTAWA, ON – Boating enthusiasts can mark their calendars for a taste of summer this February as the Ottawa Boat Show prepares to sail back into the EY Centre. As the region’s largest event for the recreational boating community, this edition will mark the 45th year of a classic event for those who love to spend time in, on and around the water.
The 2020 Ottawa Boat Show is set to showcase the latest cruisers, fishing boats, inflatables, personal watercraft and more from the region’s leading dealers & manufacturers. Hundreds of models from popular lines will be on display for climbing aboard and exploring. Featuring an array of products for the entire boating lifestyle, there will also be items including boating accessories, cottage living, and docks.
“Things are shaping up nicely for the upcoming Ottawa Boat Show,” said Scott Sprague, Show Manager. “We have a close to sold-out floor plan, and we’re already seeing traffic with online ticket sales which opened in late November. Over the years, this show has built a loyal base of exhibitors and visitors making it the largest event of its kind servicing the Ottawa area. We’re excited to bring everyone back for a milestone year marking the 45th edition.”
Tickets for the event are currently available online. Available online and at the door, admission is $15.00 per adult and $12.00 per senior or student. Visitors can stay tuned to social media for ticket promotions.
Special activities are planned throughout the event, and visitors should allot at least a couple of days to complete any shopping and enjoy the rest of the show. Families can look forward to activities geared toward the young boaters in the family, while fishing enthusiasts won’t want to miss presentations from pro staff and seasoned experts from across the country. In addition, those visiting the show on Thursday and Friday can enjoy free parking at the venue sponsored by Orleans Boat World!
