Moncton, NB – The Moncton Coliseum transformed into a transportation and logistics celebration this past week, October 20-21. The 2022 Atlantic Transportation and Logistics Show welcomed thousands of industry professionals eager to attend this unique showcase for the first time since 2019. In partnership with Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA), the return of Truck Week was a huge success.
“The return of this event was much anticipated”, says Mark Cusack, National Show Manager. “It was obvious that both exhibitors and attendees were excited to be back face-to-face connecting with suppliers, customers and more at the Coliseum.”
On Friday of the show, the Show and Shine feature took place raising $2,000 in donations for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. This outdoor event hosted enthusiastic truck owners who showed off their chromed-out vehicles. Participants drove home with prizes from TireCraft, Irving, Wajax and Nova Trucks Centres.
The Logistics Expansion was a key focus of the 2022 edition, with an expanded selection of exhibitors from the warehousing and distribution side of the industry with live warehouse operations on display at the show.
The show also held a seminar series with two seminars focused on logistics and other seminars included the future state of ELDs and EVs and an interactive e-Truck Panel – that were all very well attended.
Attendees spend two full days hopping into the drivers seat of new commercial vehicles, attending educational seminars and networking with some of the top companies in the region. We are back to business!
The next edition of the Atlantic Transportation and Logistics Show will take place in 2024. Stay tuned to the show website, Facebook or Twitter for the most up-to-date information.
