Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Sponsors Highly
Anticipated Sportsmen’s Show
For Immediate Release
Issued: January 11, 2023
Mississauga, ON – This March, Mississauga’s International Centre will transform into the region’s largest sportsmen’s show for 4 days of boating, fishing, offroad and hunting excitement. The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is back for its 75th edition, March 16-19, 2023.
The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) is excited be at the show in a stunning new display. Visitors will find them promoting its conservation legacy with a new group of outdoor enthusiasts, selling memberships and merchandise but most importantly, getting some face time in with Ontarians who share the same passion for the outdoors lifestyle.
The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is a tradition for thousands of outdoor families. For many OFAH members, it’s the place to take care of membership renewal and donations. The show builds the kind of excitement for outdoor opportunities OFAH membership have worked so hard to help create.
Thanks to the OFAH, visitors can also look forward to interacting directly with staff from some of its conservation programs including the Invading Species Awareness Program and the National Archery in the Schools Program, just to name a couple. NASP will have its own booth that will provide show attendees the opportunity to hit a target of their own and see what the program is all about.
“The OFAH is proud to announce our return to this iconic spring break event,” said Shawn Cayley, OFAH Director of Marketing and Communications. “The show has long been a hallmark event for outdoor enthusiasts and has always helped the OFAH drive home the fact that our outdoor traditions remain strong across Ontario. We can’t wait to see a packed house at the International Centre.”
Mike Miller, host of Angler & Hunter Television will also be at the show. Celebrating 30 years in 2023, the TV show continues to stand out as the most comprehensive outdoors program of its kind, one that teaches outdoor skills, bringing stories, fishing outings and hunts to life for everyday anglers and hunters.
“We are thrilled to have the support of OFAH at this year’s edition” said Show Manager, Mike Blakoe, “They will also be sponsoring the Great Outdoor Stage this year which will feature amazing seminars on topics that range from ‘Wilderness Survival Tips’ to ‘Learning How to Goose Call’ and everything in between.”
