Edmundston (New Brunswick) – Edmundston is getting ready to host an all-new event for the home & outdoor industries next spring. Master Promotions Ltd., Canada’s largest independent trade and consumer event company, are planning the Edmundston Home & Outdoor Show for May 1-3, 2020 at the Jean-Daigle Centre and Sports Pavilion.

A brand new event unique to the area, the Edmundston Home & Outdoor Show will showcase products and services for the home building and renovation industries, along with exhibits to highlight powersports and outdoor activities — plus the adventure tourism destinations that Northern New Brunswick is renowned for.

Based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Master Promotions Ltd. produces a full range of home and recreation events across Atlantic Canada with over four decades of history in the industry. Some of their related projects include the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show, Saint John Home Show, Fredericton Home Show, and Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic.

Denise Miller, Senior Show Manager, will be leading the launch of the Edmundston Home & Outdoor Show.

“We are excited to be growing our portfolio of events and expanding into Northern New Brunswick with this project,” says Miller. “Working together with the City of Edmundston, the Edmundston Home & Outdoor Show is sure to bring something that homeowners and outdoors enthusiasts have been missing in the region. Two events, on two surfaces with one admission price will offer fantastic value to visitors and exhibitors alike.”

Positioned in the heart of the Upper Saint John River Valley, hosting the event in Edmundston will draw visitors from various regions across Northern New Brunswick, Québec and Northern Maine. The Jean- Daigle Centre and Sports Pavilion will make for an ideal venue with 55,000 square feet of exhibition space.

The City of Edmundston is pleased to be on board as a supporting partner of the event. “We know such shows attract a lot of interest from near and far, so, from an economic and tourism development standpoint, we’re thrilled to add the Edmundston Home and Outdoor Show to our events calendar. Of course, our local businesses will be showcased. This event will appeal to a wide range of interests”, says Edmundston Mayor Cyrille Simard.

Visitors can look forward to meeting face-to-face with the top service providers and businesses from Edmundston and surrounding areas, to kickstart their home building, renovation, and recreation activities for 2020 and beyond. More details of the show will be announced as they become available.
