Moncton, NB – Atlantic Canada’s all-encompassing commercial marine event, Fish Canada Workboat Canada, is charting its course for Moncton this January 24 & 25. With exhibit booth space nearly sold out, and visitor registration quickly surpassing previous records, all signs point to an exciting edition next month.
This biennial event is the largest commercial marine trade show in the country. At its last edition in 2018, a record 6,659 visitors took to the show floor, and current pre-registration numbers are on track to meet or exceed that figure. The crowd includes those who make their living on, in, and around the water, along with those who provide the related products and services to keep Atlantic Canada’s marine-based industries running. The two days provide a key opportunity for members of the commercial marine sector to connect with thousands of qualified buyers.
“With less than 8 weeks until doors open on Fish Canada Workboat Canada, we have a near sold-out floorplan and final preparations are underway,” said Show Manager Shawn Murphy. “This is a growing show, with exhibitors coming from a variety of sectors, ready to showcase what’s new and exciting on the market. We’re looking forward to meeting thousands of people from the fishing, aquaculture, processing and workboat industries from throughout the Maritimes and Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula.”
Special features planned for the show include three full-size fishing boats on display for visitors on the show floor, along with an educational seminar program. Speakers from different sectors of the industry will be on hand to present on topics including oil spill assistance for commercial fishers, and climate change and marine biodiversity. The full schedule will be available on the show’s website soon.
Convenient online registration is available for only $10.00 by clicking here. Pre-registration allows visitors to save money (the price increases to $20.00 at the door) and fast-tracks their entrance to the show floor.
Visitors can stay tuned for show specials and products, to be posted soon, along with social media contests kicking off in the weeks ahead. For complete show details, visit www.FCWC.ca and follow the show on Facebook and Twitter.
