The Halifax RV Show is marking two decades of success this week, returning to the Halifax Exhibition Centre January 23-26! With all the newest models and trends from the region’s major dealers, the event brings together a taste of summer for camping enthusiasts to get ready for the season ahead.

Event Manager Scott Sprague has been working on the show since its inception. “Over the past twenty years, we’ve seen thousands of visitors through the Halifax RV Show, hundreds of units sold, and dozens of dealers participate. Lots has changed over the years, however the spirit of the event remains the same, and it’s rewarding to see a new generation on campers taking up the hobby and carrying on the RV lifestyle.”

Showcasing nearly 200 units on site, the event includes RV lifestyle products, services and information on the region’s top campgrounds and vacation destinations. The 2020 edition of the Halifax RV Show brings together the latest models from the following leading dealers:

Tickets for the event are available at the door and, for the first time in the show’s history, online in advance. Regular adult admission is $12.00, Seniors are $10.00, a full event pass is $18.00, and children under 18 are free of charge.  Plus, admission is half off after 5:00 pm each day of the show.

Visitors can also expect to take in a range of exciting features, including:

• The Fourth Annual Halifax RV Show Washer Toss Tournament – On Saturday, teams will take part in a washer toss tournament for their chance to win bragging rights and cash prizes.
• Ten Grand in Your Hand – Visitors who buy an RV at the show will have a 1 in 100 chance (approximate odds) of winning a cheque for $10,000.00!
• Halifax RV Show Seminars – Throughout the show, local experts will host free “How To” sessions. Schedule and details can be found here. Topics range from maintenance to cooking to solar power, with a special presentation on Towing & The Art of Backing up, with the option to try a live backing-up demo.
