Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Boat Show swept into the EY Centre for its 45th edition this past weekend, with hundreds of products on display and everything needed to prepare for boating season 2020. Recreational boaters from across the region were there for an impressive display of the latest watercraft options on the market.
“It was a great sunny weekend to welcome thousands of boaters to the show,” said Event Manager Scott Sprague. “We were happy to help get everyone excited for the boating season ahead. There were plenty of sales and happy buyers, and dealers were pleased to get product moving.”
More than 20 of the region’s top dealers were in attendance and reported strong sales. With top brands and a vast array of gear and services all under one roof, there was something to offer for every type of boating enthusiast.
Highlights from this year’s edition included advice for boaters on the new Boating Seminar stage, expert demonstrations on the Pro Fishing stage, a kid’s fishing and casting pond, model boat displays, and more. Those visiting the show on Thursday and Friday enjoyed free parking at the venue sponsored by Orleans Boat World and partners: Ranger and Monterey supporting Thursday, and Bennington and Legend supporting Friday!
