Edmonton, AB – The region’s top outdoor retailers are gearing up for the return of the Edmonton Boat and Sportsman’s Show. The annual event will take over the Expo Centre for 4-days of family-filled fun, March 14-17. This event is one of Alberta’s largest of its kind and will showcase exhibitors from the hunting, boating, fishing and powersport communities.
“It’s hard to believe another edition of this event is just around the corner.” said Show Manager, Les Trendall “Year after year this show continues to grow, and we are so excited about what this year has to offer!”
Visitors are encouraged to take part in the many interactive features the show has to offer:

- The Kids Fishing Pond – managed by Edmonton Fish & Game – a show classic!
- The National Archery in the Schools Program, (NASP), brought to you by AHEIA – Provincial School Archery Finals, with over 2400 kids competing over the weekend!
- The Alberta Hunter Education Instructors Association (AHEIA) will be teaching outdoor skills and conservation, and are once again hosting the provincial NASP Archery finals!
- Chance to meet both show ambassadors: Wes David of Fishing The Wild Wes TV and Brody Teale of Non-Typical Nation
- Safari Club International Northern AB Chapter – they are hosting Sensory Safari – an interactive and educational event for the family. They are also bringing the Archery Trap! This is your chance to try skeet shooting with bow and arrow!
- The Casting Pond presented by Out Fly Fishing
- Calgary Reptile Parties will be bringing reptiles to the show!
- Fly Tying – the Northern Lights Fly Fishers Club is on site all weekend long teaching all the fly tying skills.
- STACYC – bringing an e-bike demo area – perfect spot for the kids to come and try out the newest in STACYC e-bikes!
- Trailrunners – Showcasing their hunting dogs, putting on demos all weekend long to demonstrate these dogs amazing skills!

WildTV is back with their fan-favorite Outdoor Stage that will feature guest presentations over the course of the event. Come and meet local outdoors celebrities and learn all the tips and tricks. Schedule coming in the next couple days, please check our website and social media for updates!
