Halifax, NS – Homeowners and enthusiasts alike came together for the 2024 Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show Powered by Nova Scotia Power! The annual showcase was a massive success and welcomed thousands of visitors who were eager to build, renovate, and improve their homes, March 22nd – 24th at the Halifax Exhibition Centre.
“We can’t say thank you enough to our amazing exhibitors and visitors who joined us last weekend,” says Sean Miller, Show Manager. “There was an amazing buzz throughout the weekend across the entire show. Introducing homeowners with the best home builders & improvement professionals the East Coast has to offer is the cornerstone of the event.”
Family-friendly features could be found across the event including:
- The seminar stage presented by Efficiency Nova Scotia with presentations from local professionals including tapings of a local podcast, Afternoon Pint.
- On site EV vehicle test drives By Next Ride
- The Discovery Centre hands-on activity booth for kids along with our giant colouring wall
- The on-site homes, designed by Citadel Homes and LJ Patterson Sales & Service.
- The Feed Nova Scotia food drive, that generated over 400lbs of non-perishable food.

The show was also giving away a Bar Harbour Le, Five person 40-Jet Hot Tub with Lounger courtesy of Hot Tub Universe as the events door prize! Congratulations to this year’s winner, Margaret Fifoot.
