Pictou, NS – Thousands of people from the surrounding communities made the trip to the 2024 Pictou County Home and Outdoors Show Powered by Nova Scotia Power this past weekend. Home renovation enthusiasts and outdoor lovers alike came out to the Pictou County Wellness Centre for the 3-day kickoff to spring event, April 5-7.

“Our exhibitors never fail to impress with this event.” Said Show Manager, Sean Miller. “The show floor was incredible and there was something for everyone; whether they were looking to improve their homes or explore a new outdoor adventure.”

New this year was the Clean Energy Spotlight where visitors had the opportunity to learn about becoming more energy efficient in environmentally friendly ways. From solar panels to electric vehicles & bikes, this new feature of the show provided visitors with an array of solutions to lower power usage.

The new outdoor show portion was also an incredible success! Visitors discovered everything from ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, motorcycles, and electric bikes to outdoor adventures, including overlanding camping equipment.

Visitors were encouraged to enter for the chance to win a Taubik Foldable E-Bike courtesy of Pictou County Cycle. Congratulations to this year’s winner, Jon Allen!
